Julia and Mommy attended our very first Mommy and Me ballet class at the Carroll County Dance Center & Conservatory tonight. We tiptoed and galloped across the room and learned to curtsy. Julia was slightly distracted spinning around on her butt in front of the mirror during our stretch time, but I suppose that is the norm for a 2 1/2 year old ballerina. She pointed at the mirror and exclaimed "Look, it's me!" during class. I think the mirror may have been the highlight of tonight's experience. She told me she would tell her friends that she did a "great job" tonight. She seems proud. I'm certainly proud of her, but slightly disappointed that my little ballerina did not pose for a picture. All smiles during class and frowns during picture time!
