Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

We had a cozy Thanksgiving at home. Julia and I watched about one minute of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Julia seemed excited as she shook her pom-poms along with the cheerleaders. However, the commentators didn't sing and dance and the balloons weren't quick enough, so I was forced to turn on the movie Brave instead. I suppose some traditions aren't meant to be when we are dealing with a two year old's attention span.

Karaoke

Gigi bought Julia a Disney karaoke book and we just started playing with it tonight. Julia sang multiple songs for me, including the iCarly theme song and an "I love you" song. Good find Gigi! I see many house concerts in my future.

Shopping with Mommy

I absolutely love shopping with Julia. But, I reserve the right to take that back when tantrums are involved. I was trying on dresses and Julia told me I looked like a princess! That's the kind of shopping buddy a girl needs. We also enjoyed pizza, some rides in the food court and some strawberry popcorn. I might have been a bit of a softie today given her excellent behavior. Can mother and daughter shopping always be like this???

Can't Decide!

Julia has a hard time picking just one color polish when we paint her nails. This week, we decided to make it easier on her and use two colors:) Jules is quite stylish.

Halloween Fun

I'm slightly behind on the blog. But, it's safe to say, Julia had a fantastic Halloween. The Thursday before Halloween, we went to the Haunted Main Street event in Sykesville. Julia enjoyed trick or treating at the local stores. One store owner asked Julia for a trick and she told him she "just puts it (candy) in my bucket." I think that's a wonderful trick! Later that week, we carved our pumpkin and enjoyed trick or treating and a party at Kindercare. By the time Halloween night rolled around, Julia was a pro at saying "Trick or Treat."
